House Teams
All children are in a House Team. Children earn house points for good work, behaving well and upholding Hyrstmount’s Heroic Values (Empathy, Cooperation, Respect, Responsibility, Determination). The house with the most house points is announced in Friday’s assembly and a running total is kept so we know who the winning house is at the end of the year. The children also have the chance to compete against each other in house teams for sporting events, competitions and quizzes.
Each house has two house captains who are responsible for organising house events, counting the house points each week and leading by example through their behaviour and attitude. This year the house captains elected by their house teams are:
